Our Story
Bharat Bio Gas Energy Ltd. was formed in the year 2014, as India’s largest bio-conversion plant, spread across 7-acre land in Sundalpura village of Anand district of Ahmedabad. We are an innovative producer of Bio CNG gas & organic manure-fertilizers.
Bio CNG gas is produced here, through fully automated German biogas plant by using cow dung & other vegetable waste collected from many villages of Kheda and Anand districts of Gujarat. The gas produced is then refined & compressed into cascades for industrial utilization as “Green Energy”.
The residual digested and aged waste from the plant is utilized through proprietary bio-technology methods into various solid & liquid organic fertilizers.
BBEL has a capacity of producing 100 tons of organic fertilizer daily and 7000 scm. of refined compressed biogas (CBG) daily.
Dr. Bharat J. Patel is a senior Joint replacement surgeon, practicing in Ahmedabad district of Gujarat, with 42 years of orthopedic surgical experience. He is also a farmer who started farming as a hobby but actively involved himself in educating and bringing awareness amongst farmers. He introduced the philosophy of increasing farmer income by reducing the cost of cultivation and promoting the use of organic fertilizers. He has worked extensively for farmer welfare and to create communication between the government and farmer community. He founded Bharat Bio Gas Energy Ltd. in 2014 with a vision to provide ‘Green Energy’ and Promote his ‘Organic Mission’ by bringing a ‘Black revolution’.
